For those that wish to join us, Voice staff, and supporters of the Voice runners (including the Carr clan!!!) will be gathering at a pub along the route in Charlton - this is Voice's official partner pub where supporters for all our runners can gather.

Can't guarantee the weather but the pub will be serving snacks, tea and coffee (and alcohol for those that want it!) and we will be entertained by a fantastic live swing/jive band, Goosebumps. http://www.goosebumpsmusic.co.uk/ .The Rose of Denmark is at

We'll be there from 9.15am and will stay until around lunchtime.

  (15 mins to London Bridge); Blackheath; Westcombe Park. There are good National Rail links to Charing Cross.

  1. For those wishing to drive please bear in mind road closures. Car sharing is also a good idea so let a few people know if you do drive! There is some parking space at the pub but please contact them directly to check availability.

Location of the Rose of Denmark



Elite women, wheelchair athletes and elite men will pass the pub between 9:30am and 10am. Most of the runners will be passing the Rose of Denmark pub between 10:30 and 11.30am. The pub is almost exactly at the 5-mile marker point for the race. We’re well placed to watch/cheer/high five them as you will! Landlady Cathy Kelly and her staff and patrons have been loyal partners for Voice for several years now.
